Value Plus Plan – Hospital

Covers up to R 10,000 after the first 24 hours in hospital, up to R 10,000 for the second day in hospital, up to R 10,000 for the third day in hospital. Thereafter R 1,500 per day up to a maximum of 21 days. A 3 month waiting period applies and a 12 month pre-existing conditions exclusion applies. (Excludes Maternity Benefits)

• 1st Day in Hospital: Up to R 10 000.00 (min 24 hours stay)
• 2nd Day in Hospital: Up to R 10 000.00 in R 2 500.00 units (per 6 hours)
• 3rd Day in Hospital: Up to R 10 000.00 in R 2 500.00 units (per 6 hours)
• Each day thereafter: R 1 500.00 per day
• Maximum over 21 days: R 57 000.00

Up to R 150,000 per event. A 1 month waiting period applies. (Exclusion: Sports Injuries)

• Principal member – R20,000
• Spouse & Child > 14 years – R 10,000
• Child > 6 years – R 5,000
• Child > 0 years – R 2,500
• Child > 28 weeks – R 1,250
